Welcome to Notability Banknotes website. If you are a seasoned visitor to our website or this is your first time, you are always welcome to browse.
The company was established in the mid-nineteen eighties by my father and the late Hugh Roper, growing out of my passion for collecting paper money that I always had from a young age. In the early years, pre-internet, Notability Banknotes attended many banknote shows throughout the UK and Holland as well as offering a worldwide mail list service. For many years I had helped out with Notability Banknotes in a part-time role but in the late two thousands I decided to pursue my passion on a full-time and professional basis. I decided to re-launch Notability Banknotes as a mainly e-commerce site. However we still attend a number of shows in the UK and elsewhere in Europe as I always enjoying meeting many of my customers in person.

We offer a wide range of items specializing in British Isles and British Commonwealth banknotes and some unusual and rare banknotes from around the world. We pride ourselves with a fast and customer friendly service, selling quality and rare banknotes. We apply a very strict grading standard, those of the International Bank Note Society (I.B.N.S.) as customer satisfaction is important to us.
